5 Tips For Evaluating Your Online Marketing Strategy

Everybody's a critic! Yep, it's true. One place that being a critic is actually helpful, is when you're evaluating your own marketing strategy.

You need to ask yourself some hard questions, like...

  • Am I getting any results?
  • Am I getting the results I want?
  • Am I working at my marketing strategy daily (or most days)?

If you answered no to any of these questions, maybe it's time to take a good, hard look at what is driving your marketing strategy into the ditch.

Seeing good results from your marketing seems to be quite the science. Here are 5 tips to success:

  1. Find out what the successful people are doing
  2. Do the same thing as the successful people are doing
  3. Track your advertising campaigns, and then...
  4. Toss the ineffective strategies, and keep the winning ones
  5. Rinse and repeat!
My son, an 15-year-old with Aspergers Syndrome, has become quite the food critic. It is always delightful for me when I can make the boy happy with my cooking. He isn't mean, but he is very picky with narrow tastes. I found out that he loves chicken thighs baked in the oven. I made them the other night, with homemade mac and cheese. They both got rave reviews. "Mom, this is the BEST meal you have ever made. The chicken was delicious, with the spices and the crispy goodness, and the macaroni and cheese... ! It was genius how you put feta cheese in it! GENIUS!!!" It doesn't get much better than that! (What a goof.)

When a strategy works, it feels GREAT! You see results (and happy 15-year-olds)! It spurs you on to continue, when at times the whole business of marketing feels like a big fat bore. Seeing those business leads (that you found yourself!) piling up is awesome.

Hey - if you are struggling to put an online marketing strategy in place that is effective in building your business, I urge you to take a look at MLM Lead System Pro.
